Am I the only one that will try to pee out one more ounce to see the scale go down?
INNER DIALOG THIS MORNING
I’d reeeeeally like to see that scale get down the next number! I’m a freaking ounce off! Okay, what can I do? Man, I wish I hadn’t taken that sip of water! I bet that’s what’s doing it. Not the fact that I drank my ass off all week and didn’t count a single carb or calorie... nah!
Okay, hair scrunchie off, used the restroom 3 times even though there was no need the last two. I bet if I waited fifteen minutes I could pee again. That should give me an ounce off the scale!
That’s when I started laughing uncontrollably and wondered if anyone else does this. Wow. It’s time to stop the madness.
MANIFESTING MY ASS OFF (LITERALLY)
I teach and talk about law of attraction and manifesting on a daily basis but here I am, trying to push and pull with regards to my weight. I sincerely forget that we can manifest anything using the law of attraction! Even a smaller waist.
Will the weight just “come off” because I’m envisioning it? Yes. But, in true Law of Attraction form, it’s most likely that I will be led to the right foods, inspired to the right exercise that will be fun and work for me. Because after this morning’s fight with the scale, that’s my new intention.
I SEE FIT PEOPLE - AND I’M ONE OF THEM!
I’ve decided, today, to start seeing myself fit instead of seeing and thinking about the “battle of my bulge” every day. From now on, I love my body as is and I only envision and speak on where I want my body to be. Fit.
Why am I sharing this? I started the blog post to feel more connected and see if I was the only crazy person who contemplated how much her hair weighed and wondered (not seriously) if cutting it off would get her to the next pound down. But as I write this, I see that maybe this will inspire someone to start loving her own body now and begin envisioning what she wants instead of concentrating on the battle itself.
Dear body, I love you. I see you. You’re looking fit and fine girl.
